Summary
A light cordless stick vacuum for quick picks on hard floors: it folds to stand on its own, its handle comes off as a handheld vacuum, and the brush roll switches on and off from the grip. Check the runtime before you buy: the 10.8V pack is rated for up to 20 minutes and needs roughly 4 to 4.5 hours to charge, and it is built in rather than swappable.
Strengths
- Handles crumbs, cat litter and pet hair on hard floors without ceremony, according to owners.
- The brush toggle lets you skip the roller on bare floors, where it only adds noise.
- Folding handle and swivel foot mean it stands upright in a closet instead of lying on a floor.
- Washable filter and removable brush roll keep running costs close to nothing.
- One owner on Reddit reports their 3061 still running after three years.
Weaknesses
- Twenty minutes on low is not a whole-home session, and the recharge is four hours or more.
- The battery is internal, so a dead pack ends the machine’s life rather than being a cheap swap.
- No verified HEPA rating on the exact model.
- Carpet pickup is weak, and hair winds around the brush roll until you cut it off by hand.
- Genuine 3061 filters, batteries, hoses and heads are thin on the market, so repairs are awkward.
- Charging and battery failures show up repeatedly in owner reports, and so do brush and head stoppages.

Battery and charging
The 10.8V pack is rated for up to 20 minutes in low mode, and the manual asks for at least a four-hour initial charge while retailer copy puts a full charge nearer4.5 hours. The battery sits inside the body and is not a normal user-swappable pack: the manual only tells you to remove it for recycling and warns against undocumented repair work. Keep the machine between 40°F and 104°F, both for charging and for use.
Two indicator patterns are worth memorizing. A stalled brush gives a solid red light and then shuts down, which usually means hair wrapped tight around the roller. A charger, battery or motor fault shows as red and green blinking. The second one is the one that ends the machine.
Hard floors and carpets
Exact-model reviews consistently place this as a hard-floor and quick-pickup tool rather than deep-carpet equipment. Suction, noise and allergen claims from other Featherweight generations do not transfer here, because some regional listings mix this model with 14.4V, 25-minute siblings. Pet hair on tile and kitchen debris are the easy cases. Rugs are the weak side, and the brush-roll toggle does nothing for that.
Repairs and upkeep
The washable filter and removable brush roll are the easy part of ownership. Pull the roller out and cut the hair off, rinse the filter, and let both dry before reassembly. Everything after that is awkward: exact-model genuine parts are thin, and third-party filters sold as2482-compatible are a compatibility claim by the seller rather than a Bissell fitment. Long-term value takes a hit from the internal battery.
Is it worth it?
Buy it on sale. At or under a hundred it earns its place as a light second vacuum for a kitchen or a rental flat, and if low weight, folding and self-standing matter to you it stays reasonable a bit above that. It gets marginal past a hundred twenty, and past a hundred forty you are paying for a machine with a sealed battery, short runtime and thin parts support when newer cordless sticks give you a removable pack and longer runs. It is not a whole-home carpet vacuum at any price.
Which model this is
This page covers the US BISSELL Featherweight Cordless Stick Vacuum 3061 in Electric Blue/Black, UPC 011120259179, ASIN B08LHK3RQB. Evidence from the corded Featherweight and PowerBrush, and from the 14.4V siblings, does not describe this machine. If a listing quotes 14.4V or 25 minutes, that is a different model.
