The manual matters more than the listing. Let the plate cool before washing, dry the electrical port completely before the control goes back in, and keep the drip tray seated during use. Skip aerosol cooking spray, which Chefman says damages the nonstick coating; the recommended routine is a little neutral oil and nonmetal utensils.
Watch the listing, not the name
Marketplace mirrors have attached this ASIN to the smaller 10 × 16-inch, 1200 W sibling, and at least one mirror lists a 9.8 × 15.7 surface for the exact model. Confirm the listing says 10 × 20 inches and 1500 W before ordering. The correct identity is model RJ23-LG-V3 with UPC 810087845179.
Is it worth it?
Kroger-family stores listed the exact model at $29.99, down from $44.99, and Best Buy listed it at $39.99 against a $44.99 comparison value (2026-09-27). At $29.99 this is a lot of cooking surface for the money; $30–40 is still strong. Near $45 it is merely fair, and above $50 the one-year warranty, basic thermostat and unconfirmed parts make similarly sized griddles from longer-established brands the safer spend.
