Summary
A liquid-cooled prebuilt gaming desktop that pairs a Ryzen 7 8700F with an RTX 5070, 32GB of DDR5 and a 2TB NVMe SSD. Check the exact build before you buy: Newegg’s “components brands may vary” policy means the motherboard, RAM, SSD, GPU and cooler brands are not guaranteed.
Strengths
- The RTX 5070 lands close to an RTX 4070 Ti in rasterization, with DLSS 4 multi-frame generation as its main advantage.
- A 1000W supply, liquid cooling and four DIMM slots leave room to upgrade.
- Owners across CyberPowerPC report cool, quiet systems after reseating the GPU and RAM.
- Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and RGB keyboard and mouse are included.
- CyberPowerPC’s own site sells a same-configuration build under the GML 99684 model number.
- A 30-day return window applies at Newegg and B&H Photo.
Weaknesses
- Newegg’s “components brands may vary” policy leaves the motherboard, RAM, SSD, GPU and AIO cooler brands unguaranteed.
- No instrumented professional test of the exact GML70300 exists, so thermals, noise and power draw are unverified.
- RAM speed differs by listing: 6000 MHz at B&H Photo against 4800MT/s on CyberPowerPC’s UK site.
- The 1000W PSU brand and 80 Plus rating are unlisted, as are the AIO model and radiator size.
- Owners report BSODs, crashes and loose connections; a buyer of the related 8700F/RTX 5070 model needed a BIOS reset and a manual Windows reinstall.
- US warranty terms for this exact model are not confirmed.

What you get and what varies
The GML70300 ships with the configuration above, but Newegg warns that “components brands may vary.” In practice that means the motherboard manufacturer, the RAM kit and its speed, the SSD, the RTX 5070 board partner and the AIO cooler can all change between units. Newegg lists only “AMD B850” for the board, 1000W for the supply and “GeForce RTX 5070” for the card, with no brand, 80 Plus level, factory overclock or radiator size. B&H Photo’s related SLCAI6800CPGV2 lists 6000 MHz DDR5, while CyberPowerPC’s UK site lists 4800MT/s for a similar 8700F/RTX 5070 build. If a specific part matters to you, confirm it before ordering.
Performance and the RTX 5070
No outlet has published an instrumented test of the exact GML70300, so treat the rest of this as GPU-level evidence. Tom’s Hardware found the RTX 5070 practically identical to the RTX 4070 Ti in 3DMark TimeSpy Extreme, with DLSS 4 multi-frame generation as the differentiator. Tom’s Guide called it the awkward middle child and pointed to the 5070 Ti for a bigger jump or the 5060 Ti for better value. Engadget described it as basically a 4070 Ti that is better at 4K. PCMag judged it middling and said AMD’s RX 9070 is the stronger value at the same price. Tom’s Hardware also found strong gaming performance from a CyberPowerPC build with the same GPU under a different CPU and chassis.
Owner reports and reliability
Reddit r/CYBERPOWERPC threads show mixed experiences across the brand. Owners praise cool, quiet running, high-settings gaming and easy setup; one said the machine “stays cooler than any PC I have ever owned” after reseating the GPU and RAM. Others report BSODs and crashes, loose motherboard screws and connections, fan noise and RGB flickering, with reseating the GPU and RAM fixing several cases. A B&H Photo reviewer reported the related SLCAI6800CPGV2 unstable out of the box, with BIOS settings driving the RAM too hard, needing four hours of troubleshooting and a manual Windows reinstall. These are brand-wide signals, not a defect rate for the GML70300.
Power, cooling and upgrades
The mid-tower case uses a tempered glass side panel and a liquid cooler. The 1000W supply is specified by wattage only; neither Newegg nor B&H Photo lists a brand or 80 Plus rating, and the AIO model and radiator size are absent from both. For upgrades, the B850 board offers 4 DIMM slots, 2 M.2 slots and a PCIe x16 slot, and the case takes standard ATX parts. RAM speed is the spec to watch, because it is the one component whose listed rating changes from 6000 MHz to 4800MT/s across the sources.
Warranty and returns
Newegg and B&H Photo both list a 30-day return policy for these builds. CyberPowerPC’s warranty page links to separate CyberPowerPC, e-commerce and refurbished warranty terms, but the exact coverage for the GML70300 is not spelled out. Best Buy’s listing for a different 8700F model mentions a 1-year standard warranty, and CyberPowerPC’s UK site cites a 5-year warranty on another model, so terms appear to vary by model and region. Confirm the warranty on the unit you order.
Is it worth it?
At $1,400-1,600 this combination is strong value for an RTX 5070 prebuilt. Around $1,900-2,100 it is fair, and at $2,200-2,400 it is weak unless the component brands are confirmed to be higher tier, because the “brands may vary” policy can leave a $2,279.99 Newegg listing looking expensive next to a like-for-like build. Newegg lists the GML70300 at $2,279.99, B&H Photo lists the related SLCAI6800CPGV2 at $2,359.99, and CyberPowerPC’s own site lists a same-configuration GML 99684 at $1,919, a sale from $2,019. IGN reported an April 2026 sale at $1,399 for a CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme Liquid with RTX 5070, though the model number was not confirmed. Best Buy lists a different 8700F/RTX 5070 model at $2,199.99.
Which model this is
This page covers the Newegg model GML70300 in black. Newegg sells three configurations under that model number: the researched Ryzen 7 8700F/RTX 5070/32GB/2TB build, a Ryzen 7 9700X/RTX 5060 Ti/16GB/1TB build and a Ryzen 7 9700X/RTX 5070/32GB/2TB build. B&H Photo’s related SLCAI6800CPGV2 shares the same core specs under a different model number, and CyberPowerPC’s own site lists a GML 99684 with the same configuration. Do not confuse any of these with GML70310, GML70420 or other Gamer Supreme variants that use different CPUs or GPUs.
The US listing this review is built around is ASIN B0DW46LGGS.
