Problems, parts and running costs

Summary

A robot vacuum and mop whose whole point is the dock: it empties the bin, refills clean water, washes both mops and dries them with heated air, which makes it best suited to homes that are mostly hard floor. Check how much carpet you have before buying, because lab testing and real-home reviews disagree sharply on carpet and pet-hair cleaning.

Strengths

  • The dock empties, refills, washes and dries on its own, so daily involvement shrinks to swapping the full dust bag occasionally.
  • TechRadar found mapping and app controls excellent and real-home mopping very effective, with no streaks or puddles.
  • RTINGS confirms very strong battery endurance and effective obstacle avoidance on hard floors.
  • 12 mm of mop lift keeps low-pile rugs out of the pads’ way in mixed rooms.
  • LiDAR plus a camera-and-LED obstacle system is a feature-rich setup for this class of robot.
  • The station base detaches, which makes the dock tray much easier to clean.

Weaknesses

  • The robot stands 113.5 mm tall and the dock is large, so low furniture and cramped dock spots are poor fits.
  • Climbing tall thresholds is inconsistent; TechRadar observed uneven behavior around 2 cm lips.
  • Thick rugs can still touch damp pads, because 12 mm of lift is aimed at low and medium carpet.
  • There is no automatic detergent dosing; you add cleaning solution by hand.
  • RTINGS’ standardized testing found weak fine-debris, carpet and pet-hair pickup, pathing misses and poor dried-stain removal.
  • Camera, LiDAR and app complexity adds firmware and network failure modes that simpler robots don’t have.

The dock does most of the work

The Omni Station pulls debris into a dust bag, refills the robot’s 80 ml tank, washes both pads and dries them with 45°C heated air. Dust-bag life depends on how much the household sheds: eufy’s own figures run about 60 days for three people with no pets, about 45 days with one pet and about 30 days with two. The robot itself runs very quiet; the loud moment is the self-empty burst, which RTINGS measured at 73.2 dBA.

The Pro-Detangle brushroll doesn’t end hair wrap, it reduces it. eufy’s own FAQ tells pet owners to raise self-emptying to every 15 minutes and use Turbo or Max mode, which is an admission that hair still reaches the bag.

Carpet and pet hair

Professional testing disagrees here, and the disagreement is real. TechRadar’s real-home review found strong vacuuming and excellent mopping. RTINGS’ updated test bench found mediocre hard-floor pickup, weak carpet and pet-hair results, pathing misses and poor dried-stain removal. Different test spaces, settings and pathing explain part of the gap, not all of it. If your home is mostly sealed hard floors with routine daily dirt, the case for this robot is strong; if it’s thick carpet, embedded pet hair or dried stains, take the harsher verdict seriously.

Repairs and upkeep

Routine work: clean the filter, pull hair from the brush and its ends, dump dirty water, refill clean water, wash the mop pads, wipe the dock tray and replace dust bags. Roughly two years of field history have produced recurring themes — Wi-Fi disconnects and re-pairing failures, station water-level and pump errors, brush-drive faults and hair accumulation — but nobody has published a failure rate, so treat these as known patterns rather than a defect tally.

eufy publishes battery-replacement guidance and sells consumables, and owners have documented DIY mechanical fixes. Dock pump and electronics faults can require proprietary assemblies and a support call. The product page promises a hassle-free warranty, but the exact standard duration for the US model wasn’t confirmed; don’t assume the optional Plus membership’s six bonus months apply to it.

Is it worth it?

Buy it on sale. Through authorized Anker bundles at Walmart and Target, which add six spare dust bags or an official parts kit, this is a strong deal for a hard-floor home. Paying close to the manufacturer’s full list price is hard to justify in 2026, because newer robots clean carpet better and lift their mops higher. Check the store panel above for current prices.

Ownership costs don’t stop at purchase: proprietary dust bags, filters, mop pads, side and main brushes and optional cleaning solution, with replacement cadence driven by pets and debris load.

Which model this is

The exact US model is T2351111, sold in black; the X10 Pro Omni family also includes a white T2351121. Retail bundles differ, so don’t assume extra spares: RTINGS’ count of the standard kit is one dirt bag, one filter, a brushroll and guard, and two mop pads.
