Summary
A premium wireless gaming headset with 50 mm graphene drivers, three connection options and a claimed 50 hours of battery, built for players who want one headset across PC, Bluetooth and wired use. The catch is the feature list at the asking price: no active noise cancellation and a modest treble in the one independent review available.
Strengths
- Bass is powerful and distortion-free even at maximum volume.
- Build quality is excellent, with a comfortable fit that does not pinch.
- The detachable cardioid mic is clear and sensitive without extra processing.
- Blue VO!CE adds EQ, filters and voice effects when you want them.
- DTS Headphone:X 7.1 gives strong directional imaging in games like Fortnite.
Weaknesses
- No active noise cancellation, which PCMag flags as missing at this price.
- Treble response and clarity are modest on the default flat EQ.
- Blue VO!CE has no flat preset, so the unprocessed mic sound is the reference.
- PCMag calls it expensive for the feature set next to a $179.99 rival.
- No hard-shell case or charging dock in the box.

Sound, microphone and software
PCMag’s July 2023 review is the only independent test found, and it rates the headset Good. It describes a bass-forward sound that stays distortion-free at maximum volume and a balanced, clean presentation, with a Communications EQ preset that sounds slightly crisper and more sculpted. The weak spot is treble: PCMag calls it modest and less clear than it could be on the default flat EQ. DTS Headphone:X 7.1 surround images direction well in Fortnite, where footsteps and gunfire land in the right place, though PCMag found the effect less convincing in Deceive Inc. DTS Super Stereo Mode is a separate toggle and can blur the bass if left on.
The mic is clear and sensitive with no processing, and PCMag preferred that unprocessed default over the Blue VO!CE presets, which add EQ, filters and voice effects but ship with no clean flat option. The mic detaches for storage. On the connection side, the USB-A transmitter includes a 3.5 mm passthrough so you can go wired even on a PC without a headphone jack. Wireless range is rated to 30 m by Logitech, and no source read independently measured latency or range.
Battery, charging and build
Logitech claims up to 50 hours of battery, but the PCMag review only repeats the figure and does not measure runtime, so treat it as a manufacturer number. Charging runs over USB-C on the left earcup. The frame is aluminum Y-struts with a steel headband and a rotating hinge that folds flat, and PCMag rates the build excellent with memory foam pads that stay comfortable without pinching. Leatherette pads are installed; a fabric set is in the box.
Parts, repairs and running costs
Logitech’s US store allows free returns within 30 days, and the warranty length was not visible on the page. The Logitech G spare parts store sells a PRO LIGHTSPEED wireless receiver for $29.99 but lists it out of stock, and the company points owners to iFixit for repair guides. No PRO X 2-specific earpads or replacement mic were listed there. Recurring costs are limited to replacement earpads if you wear through the originals. There is no owner-reported reliability data.
Is it worth it?
PCMag rates it Good but calls it slightly overpriced at its $249.99 launch MSRP, given the missing active noise cancellation and the treble limit, and compares it unfavorably to the $179.99 Razer Blackshark V2 Pro. Logitech G US direct listed $229.99 as a special offer on 2026-10-10, which improves the value without closing the feature gap. No owner feedback or wider street pricing was retrieved, so weigh the manufacturer claims on battery and range accordingly.
