Summary

A 1200 W full-size countertop blender with a 64 oz pitcher plus 32 oz and 24 oz to-go cups, three speeds, pulse and one Extract cycle. Check the small-batch limits before you buy: the blades sit too high to emulsify a two-egg-yolk mayo recipe, and the low speed is still too aggressive for delicate tasks.

Strengths

  • Crushed ice into finely crushed ice on medium speed “with no effort at all” (TechRadar, 2021).
  • No leaking from the jug or lid at maximum fill, and to-go lids survived being shaken upside down.
  • The two-cup plus pitcher setup covers both batch blending and single-serve smoothies.
  • Dishwasher-safe pitcher, cups and lids make cleanup easy.
  • Replacement parts and extra pitchers are sold directly by nutribullet.

Weaknesses

  • Only three speeds plus pulse; there is no variable dial for fine control.
  • The low speed is still very aggressive for delicate recipes (84 dB on low vs. 83 dB on high in TechRadar’s test).
  • The blades sit high in the pitcher, so small batches like a two-egg-yolk mayo recipe fail until doubled.
  • The tamper feels plasticky.
  • The pitcher-only sibling could not pass Wirecutter’s nut butter test, and no $150 blender they tested could pulverize nuts into paste.

Blending performance

TechRadar’s hands-on test of this exact combo in 2021 found it crushed ice effortlessly on medium and produced a thick, smooth Extract-program smoothie with only tiny spinach specks. Hazelnuts chopped to a fine, mostly consistent texture with a couple of larger pieces remaining. Maximum noise reached 87 dB; high speed ran at 83 dB, low at 84 dB.

The same review hit the combo’s real limits. A small two-egg-yolk mayo recipe failed because the blades sat too high for the small quantity; doubled, it emulsified but came out a little runnier than TechRadar would have liked. The low speed was still too aggressive for the delicate recipe. Three speeds and pulse offer little fine control.

Wirecutter tested the pitcher-only Nutribullet Full Size Blender, which shares the base and pitcher but not the to-go cups. They were impressed with the performance and price as a powerful budget option around $150 at the time of their test. It emulsified mayo on the first try and made smoothies smoother but more liquefied than the KitchenAid K150, though it failed their nut butter test.

Parts, maintenance and running costs

nutribullet sells replacement parts and extra pitchers on its site: a 64 oz pitcher is $44.99 and a 56 oz pitcher $39.99 (nutribullet, 2026). A blade subscription service delivers new blades every six months at a 10% discount. nutribullet customer service handles replacement parts.

The user guide requires upkeep beyond dishwashing. Never run the blender empty or grind dry ingredients such as grains, cereal or coffee, which can damage the motor and blade. If blending runs longer than one minute, friction can heat ingredients and build pressure; if the vessel becomes warm, turn it off and let it cool completely before opening. The pitcher is dishwasher-safe but never on the sanitize cycle, because high sanitize heat can warp the plastic. Check the pitcher and twisting threads regularly for cracking, crazing or breakage and replace immediately if damaged. If the motor stops, unplug it and let it cool at least 15 minutes.

nutribullet parts are not interchangeable between models, and using non-compatible parts increases wear.

Is it worth it?

nutribullet sells the Combo direct for $129.99 with free shipping and a free 1-year warranty (nutribullet, 2026). At that price it is fair value; below $100 it becomes strong value for the included cups, dishwasher-safe parts and ice-crushing power. Above $145 the value is weak unless you specifically want the cup accessories and compact footprint. TechRadar’s 2021 checks listed $111.99 at Wayfair, $125.99 at Newegg and $129.99 at Macy’s, with a $139.99 list price. The pitcher-only version was $69.99, marked down from $99.99, at nutribullet in 2026.
