Summary

A budget tri-mode mechanical keyboard in a 95-key 96% layout, with a 1.41 in TFT info display, a volume knob, a gasket mount and hot-swap sockets. The catch is wireless: testers found Bluetooth drops when the PC sleeps and does not come back, and battery life falls under 4 hours with RGB on.

Strengths

  • Two independent reviews praise the typing feel and a sound profile described as creamy and well-tuned.
  • Build quality is better than the budget price suggests.
  • The 96% layout keeps the numpad while saving desk space.
  • The gasket mount and five foam layers give the board a solid, damped sound.
  • Hot-swap sockets let you change switches without soldering.
  • The factory-lubed stabilizers needed only minor extra lube on the spacebar.

Weaknesses

  • Bluetooth disconnects when the PC sleeps and does not reconnect, so you have to use wired or 2.4 GHz to log back in.
  • Battery life is under 4 hours with RGB on, and charging is slow.
  • The RGB backlight looks dull even at full brightness because the keycaps are opaque.
  • The USB-C port is on the left side, which complicates cable management.
  • The custom GIF upload did not work in testing.
  • Redragon publishes no polling rate or wireless latency figures.

Wireless, Bluetooth and battery

Tri-mode connectivity is the point here: USB-C wired, Bluetooth and a 2.4 GHz nano receiver. The Bluetooth link is the weak one. CGMagazine found that when the PC goes to sleep the connection ends and does not return on wake, leaving you to plug in or reach for the dongle before you can log in. If you plan to use Bluetooth for day-to-day typing, test that during the return window.

Battery life with the backlight on is under 4 hours in CGMagazine’s testing, and charging is slow. The display’s custom GIF feature did not work in testing, and the software’s screen section is awkward to use. Polling rate and wireless latency are not specified by Redragon, so there is no published figure to compare against.

Which model this is

This page covers the K719 PRO, sold in the US as the Galatin Pro K719 (Jade Cloud colorway) and in the EU as the Artemis K719 PRO. Do not confuse it with the non-PRO K719 or other Redragon K7XX models.

The US Jade Cloud variant is ASIN B0DKHHWJT3.

Redragon says the display is 1.14 in, while ThePhonograph.net measured 1.41 in; the measured figure is used above. Redragonshop’s open-box listing says MOA keycaps, but the reviews and the product identity both say OEM profile.

Price and value

CGMagazine lists the MSRP at $79.99, and Redragon’s own store lists the Galatin Pro K719 at $79.99. The EU Redragonshop lists the Artemis K719 PRO at €89.99. At $80 or less the keyboard is strong value for the typing feel and layout; from $80 to $100 the wireless shortcomings weigh more, since better-implemented alternatives exist at that price. There is no independent longevity data, so long-term value is unproven.

Repairs and upkeep

The hot-swap sockets are the main repair path: switches pull out without soldering, and Redragon includes 4 spares in the box. The stabilizers come factory-lubed, and ThePhonograph.net needed only a little extra lube on the spacebar. The board carries a 2-year limited warranty, and there is no published long-term reliability data beyond that.
