Summary

A high-end gaming prebuilt for buyers who want AMD’s Ryzen 7 9800X3D and Radeon RX 9070 XT without building it themselves. Check the exact config before comparing prices: “Azure 3” spans several builds with different RAM, storage and PSU options.

Strengths

  • The 9800X3D + RX 9070 XT pairing is the reason to buy: IGN scored the GPU 10/10 and recommends the CPU for most gamers.
  • Standard off-the-shelf parts (AM5/B650, DDR5, M.2, ATX) keep upgrades conventional.
  • US assembly and a one-year parts-and-labor warranty with lifetime technical support.
  • Owners praise the price-to-performance, clean cable management and attractive case.
  • The 360mm AIO and 850W Gold PSU leave headroom for future GPU upgrades.

Weaknesses

  • No instrumented professional review of this exact prebuilt exists; the manufacturer’s FPS table is a 3DMark-derived marketing chart.
  • Component brands may vary: the GPU board partner, motherboard model and PSU OEM are not fixed.
  • Wi-Fi is 802.11 AC (Wi-Fi 5) on the Newegg build, behind current Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 expectations at this price.
  • Owners report loose internal cables, RGB faults and GPUs shifting in transit, though these are brand-level complaints, not exact-model defect rates.
  • Shipping damage on glass-panel desktops is a recurring complaint theme.
  • Customer support is polarizing: some owners report fast resolution, others slow responses and delayed parts.

The build

The Azure 3 pairs AMD’s Ryzen 7 9800X3D with the Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB. IGN rates the 9800X3D as its recommended gaming CPU for most people and scored the RX 9070 XT 10/10, calling it the least expensive card it would recommend for demanding 4K at 60fps+. PC Guide positions the GPU as a strong 1440p/4K choice and notes a comparable RTX 5070 Ti + 9800X3D build runs about $200-300 more. The rest of the spec sheet is competent: 32GB DDR5 5600, 1TB NVMe, a 360mm AIO with ARGB fans, six fans, a B650/AM5 board and an 850W 80 Plus Gold ATX 3.0 PSU.

Component transparency

Both Skytech and Newegg state that component make and model can differ between builds, and that photos are illustrative. The GPU is described only as “AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB GDDR6” — the board partner (Sapphire, XFX, ASRock, Gigabyte, etc.) is not fixed. The motherboard is specified only as “B650” (AM5); the exact brand and model are not published. The AIO is described by radiator size and ARGB fans, not by brand. Skytech’s warranty separately says replacement parts may not match the original brand or model and may be new or refurbished.

Warranty and returns

Skytech’s warranty covers one year for parts and one year for labor from original retail purchase, for the original purchaser from Skytech or an authorized retailer. Auction, liquidation, used and unauthorized-reseller units are excluded. Newegg’s spec sheet matches “1 Year Parts & Labor.” Skytech sells optional 2-year ($200) and 3-year ($300) Refundable Protection Program extensions that refund as store credit if unused.

Returns: new PCs are returnable within 30 days of invoice with a required RMA. Refunds are reduced by a 10% deduction for unused/resalable systems and up to 15% restocking plus shipping for used systems. A $50 recall fee applies to post-shipment cancellations. Components installed in a desktop are not individually returnable. Refurbished PCs have a 90-day window.

Is it worth it?

Datable coverage shows the exact 1TB Azure 3 at $2,099.99 at Newegg in May 2026, while the 1TB Azure 3 Plus dropped to $1,749 at Walmart in June 2026. Skytech’s direct listing text starts at $2,499.99 for the 1TB #2808-B. At the lower sale prices this is strong value for a no-assembly 9800X3D + RX 9070 XT machine; near the direct price the premium buys Skytech’s case, US build and single warranty rather than better core performance.

Which model this is

This page covers the base Azure 3 with Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB, 32GB DDR5 5600MHz non-RGB, 1TB NVMe and 850W Gold ATX 3.0 PSU. Skytech’s own SKU is ST-AZURE3-2808-B-AL; the Newegg equivalent black build carries model STT-AZURE3-2810-C01. Do not confuse it with the Azure 3 Plus (32GB DDR5 6000 RGB, 2TB, 1000W) or the #1747-W variant. The Amazon listing for this config is ASIN B0F6MY44CT.
