Summary
A wearable in-bra breast pump with app control and HeatFlow warming for parents who want hands-free pumping without tubes. Check the fit and the setup before you buy: the hubs are bulky, positioning takes practice, and no independent test of the S1 itself has been published.
Strengths
- The app gives fine control over rhythm, suction and heat.
- Silicone flanges feel softer than the hard plastic flanges on traditional pumps.
- Quiet enough that one owner pumps in bed without waking her husband.
- Hands-free use fits around eating, laundry or holding the baby.
- Washable parts are dishwasher- and steriliser-safe.
- HSA/FSA eligible, which lowers the effective cost.
Weaknesses
- No independent instrumented test of the S1 was located, so lean on the return policy.
- Assembly is not intuitive; the Mumsnet tester had leaks from a flange that was not seated right.
- The hubs are bulky and do not fit every bra.
- Nipple positioning matters more than on a pump like the Spectra S1, and mistakes leak.
- Heat drains the battery faster; one owner reports about 2.5 uses per charge with heat on.
- One owner reports a two-week adjustment period before getting good output.

Warming and suction
HeatFlow is the S1’s headline feature, with 7 heat settings between 95-105°F to help let down. The 300 mmHg figure is the maximum suction rating, not a measure of comfort or how much milk you get, so treat it as a ceiling rather than a promise. The “30% more output” claim comes from eufy’s own feedback from 300 pump users, not an independent clinical study. The eufy Baby app adds OptiRhythm and lets you tune suction, cycle speed and heat instead of cycling through fixed presets.
Battery, noise and fit
The S1 charges over USB and is rated for 4-6 sessions per charge. The S1 Pro shares the same pumping hardware and adds a wireless charging case rated for up to 5 days, which is the only real difference between the two. Using heat pulls the battery down faster, and one owner reports about 2.5 uses per charge with it on. Eufy rates the pump under 46 dB, but the Mumsnet tester said you would hear it sitting next to someone using it. Owners like the soft silicone flanges, though one calls the silicone oddly hard, and the bulky hubs do not fit every bra.
Assembly, cleaning and parts
Plan on a learning curve. The Mumsnet tester needed the instructions to stop leaks from a mis-seated flange, and one owner reports a two-week adjustment period before output improved. All washable parts come apart for cleaning and are dishwasher- and steriliser-safe. Replacement parts for the washable components are sold separately, and eufy says the heating flange was tested with 56 hours of continuous boiling and 1,000 flex tests. The pump hub is covered for 12 months and the washable components for 3 months. Nobody has published a failure rate, so treat assembly and leak complaints as a known annoyance rather than a defect.
Is it worth it?
Eufy lists the S1 at $239.99, and Walmart listed it at $189.99 (Walmart, 2026). The S1 Pro is $349.99 for the same pumping performance plus the charging case. For comparison, eufy’s own chart puts the Elvie Stride at $199.99 and the Willow Go at $349.99. There are bundles too: the S1 with a milk container at $269.99 and the S1 with a 2-pack of diaphragms at $259.99. HSA/FSA eligibility cuts the effective cost for eligible buyers. The lack of independent testing and thin owner history means the warranty terms and return window matter more than usual here.
Which model this is
This page covers the standard S1, sold by Soundcore/eufy (Anker Innovations). The S1 and S1 Pro share the same pumping performance; only the charging setup differs, so do not merge the S1 with the S1 Pro, S2 Pro, E20 or E10. The seed Soundcore URL for t8d04121 now shows the S1 Pro page, which can trip up buyers searching for the exact S1; the S1 itself is listed at eufy.com/products/t8d02181. The S1 Pro has picked up a CES 2025 Innovation Award and other honors, but it is not clear that the non-Pro S1 carries the same awards. The FDA does not treat “hospital-grade” as a regulated term, and eufy uses it to describe suction level, not a hospital rental pump.
