Summary

A compact single-serve brewer that pushes a measured cup of hot water through a K-Cup-style pod or loose grounds, with a separate over-ice setting. It has no detachable reservoir, so you fill it for every cup — the main thing to weigh before buying.

Strengths

  • The body is only 4.2 inches wide, so it fits a counter where width, not height, is the limit.
  • A reusable grounds basket is included, so you can skip pods without buying an extra accessory.
  • It offers both a hot brew and an over-ice pour, with a recipe booklet in the box.
  • The small per-cup tank means fresh water each time and none sitting in the machine for days.
  • A self-cleaning cycle and a descale reminder help flush a narrow water path.
  • A Reddit owner reported weeks of reliable single-serve use, fast heating and easy cleaning in January 2026.

Weaknesses

  • There is no detachable reservoir, so you measure and pour the exact serving for every cup.
  • The over-ice mode pours hot coffee onto ice; it is not a cold-brew maker.
  • One owner reported residual coffee leaking after a brew and when opening the pod lid (March 2025).
  • One K310IC owner reported a descale light that would not clear, then steam and under half a cup after repeated cleaning (May 2025).
  • The advertised 175°F brew temperature is unexplained and no independent test measured it.
  • Tall travel mugs may not clear the nozzle, and the warranty is described differently from guide to guide.

Hot and iced brewing

The machine has two hot-water functions: HOT BREW and OVER ICE. The iced setting pours hot coffee over ice; it is not an overnight cold brew and makes no chilled water. One guide lists about 1.5 minutes for a 6 oz cup and up to 3.5 minutes for 14 oz, and another says about three minutes. Retailer and guide text advertises 175°F as the hot-coffee temperature, but nobody has published an independent temperature-at-the-grounds test for the K310IC. Coffee-industry guidance puts brew water at 195–205°F where it meets the grounds, so treat the 175°F figure as unexplained rather than a measured result.

Filling, size and daily use

The tank is fixed. Measuring and pouring the water is the portion control, so a second cup means a second fill. That suits one person drinking a cup at a time and is a real drawback for a household. The body is 4.2 inches wide and 10.3 inches tall, and the manufacturer calls it 8.2 inches deep. Weight is unclear: one 2.0 guide says 1.91 lb and another K310IC guide says 2.59 lb. One 2.0 guide says cups up to 6 inches clear the nozzle, and the guides disagree about whether a drip tray is in the box at all.

Problems owners report

A March 2025 comment on r/keurig described a Tastyle hot/iced owner whose unit leaked residual coffee after a brew and when opening the pod lid, even with the chamber open and the used pod removed. In May 2025 a K310IC owner on JustAnswer said the descaling indicator stayed on after three cleanings, then the brewer steamed and produced under half a cup. Neither account gives a failure rate, so read them as known annoyances rather than a proven defect. A third critique relays a pod-puncture complaint it does not attribute, so that one cannot be checked against the original. If steam escapes or the flow turns unsafe, unplug the unit and let it cool.

Parts, consumables and running costs

There is no published Tastyle replacement-part catalog or annual service schedule for the K310IC. The pod holder and the reusable grounds basket are the included parts; clean them after use and replace them only if damaged. No confirmed genuine drip tray, lid seal, pump or heating-element part number with a US price was found. There is no mandatory subscription: the brewer runs from physical buttons with no account, so recurring app or cartridge costs are $0 a year. As an example, the rated 800W for a three-minute cup works out to about 0.04 kWh; at an assumed $0.20 per kWh that is about $0.008 a cup, or $2.92 a year at one cup a day. By volume, one cup a day at 10 g of grounds is about 3.65 kg of coffee a year. Descaling is a consumable and its frequency depends on water hardness and the unit’s own booklet.

For the purchase itself, Tastyle’s own page listed the Classic Black K310IC at $49.99 (mytastyle.com, October 2026). A Walmart marketplace listing for the Classic Black 2.0 C95 showed a $53.99 headline marked down from $59.99, while another block on the same page showed $70.18 and out of stock, so confirm the seller and stock. An eBay seller listed a new K310IC at $29.99 in June 2026, and a separate used listing showed $21.67; those are individual sellers, not an authorized retailer with a warranty. For comparison, a Walmart first-party Keurig K-Express Essentials Gen 2 was $49.47 with a 30 oz removable tank and no over-ice mode, and the Chefman InstaCoffee was $36.00 but out of stock.

Warranty and support

Published coverage is inconsistent. One K310IC guide describes a one-year limited warranty plus an 18-month care commitment, another describes 18 months of care for material and workmanship defects, and a third says one year limited. The manufacturer’s warranty page does not state a clear K310IC-specific duration. Tastyle’s contact page lists support@mytastyle.com and a Plano, Texas address. The warranty activation form asks for an order ID and an activation code printed inside the box and says registration can extend the warranty, without saying by how much. Keep the box and the invoice.

Which model this is

This page covers the Tastyle K310IC in Classic Black, a corded mini brewer sold as a “Mini Hot and Iced Coffee Maker.” Third-party documents sometimes label it the 2.0 Version, which does not prove the shipped hardware is identical. The model’s listing corresponds to ASIN B0DHCJDJBW. It is not an espresso machine, a cold-brew extractor or a reservoir brewer.
